Both their GMMK 3 PRO and its replacement had the switch-socket issue, which they fixed by soldering.
“I ended up with two of these keyboards because I bought the first one w/o knowing about the issues, and the replacement had the same issue.”
Owns a GMMK 3 Pro and absolutely loves it, with plenty of room for foam.
“I've got 3 Glorious boards: a GMMK Pro, GMMK 3,and a GMMK 3 Pro (Boardsmith). And I absolutely love them.”
Thought their Falchion NX was defective because it stalled at 40% charge, but it fast-charges to 40% in 30 minutes and then takes about 2.5 hours per 10% after that, so they charge it overnight.
“Apparently this keyboard has a 30 minutes fast charge that goes to 40% really fast, then the rest of the 60% is very very slow.”
Their BlackWidow V4 75% and Viper V4 Pro work great on PS5 with no lag.
“I bought a Razer Blackwidow V4 75% and a Razer Viper V4 Pro and they work great with the PlayStation 5, there is no lag at all in games.”
Their inherited GMMK 3 PRO is built like a tank and, after new switches and keycaps, is a daily driver at the office.
“I also inherited a GMMK 3 pro. It's built like a tank.”
Loves their second-hand GMMK 3 PRO's weight, soft tactile feel and form factor, though some keys dropped or doubled until they cleaned it out.
“I'm in love with this keyboard. The weight of it, the soft tactile feel, the form factor...”
A 20-year PC gamer who owned the Corsair K70 RGB PRO with Cherry MX Silver Speed switches found them far too sensitive, causing accidental key presses in games, and the pinging sound started to annoy them.
“Silver linear switches were WAY too sensitive for me. I would glance a key and it would actuate.”
The Azoth Extreme's Snow switches are very nice and build quality is top-tier; they love theirs.
“The snow switches are very nice, the build quality is top-tier, and you won't regret buying it.”
Loves the Azoth Extreme: it sounds and feels great to type on, like a premium board, for less hassle than sourcing custom parts.
“I also have this keyboard and I love it”
A year after receiving the Azoth Extreme as a gift (coming from a Razer board), they still love its build quality and features.
“When I unboxed it, I was really surprised by the build quality and the features. A year later, I still love it.”
Fixed a cheap GMMK 3 PRO barebones whose switch sockets came off from weak soldering, a common problem; still enjoys it, though the software is finicky and it isn't QMK/VIA compatible.
“I bought this board for $20 because the sockets were coming off due to weak soldering. This is a common problem with a GMMK 3, I was just willing to fix it.”
Liking their BlackWidow V4 75% build with Kailh switches so far.
“Who would’ve thought Razer could make such good boards too! I’m liking it so far!”
Replaced their loud BlackWidow V4, which had started double-inputting: a nice board, but the switches weren't satisfying.
“Don't get me wrong, the Blackwidow is a nice keyboard but the switches are not satisfying.”
With silent tactile switches added, their BlackWidow V4 75% sounds smooth and quiet thanks to its factory foam and tape mods.
“It sounds so smooth and quiet, and with the already existing foam and tape mods in the board, it's just incredible.”
Nearly a year in, their BlackWidow V4 75% is a pretty nice board: very tactile stock orange switches, decent stock sound, easy to open, mod and hot-swap.
“Ive had mine for nearly a year now and am currently typing on it.”
Their open-box GMMK 3 PRO 100% arrived with two dead switch sockets that new switches didn't fix.
“I ordered a Glorious GMMK 3 Pro 100 off ebay. It was advertised as New (Open box) but I have my doubts.”
Testing the BlackWidow V4 75% with Durock switches and SA keycaps; it feels good to type on so far.
“Feels good to type on so far.”
The K100's OPX switches are so light that a gust of wind registers a keystroke, and the board is loud for typing; fine only for gaming.
“OPX RGB is terriable for anything else but gaiming.”
Their BlackWidow V4 75% was a great first board and still works, though they now prefer a Rainy 75.
“My blackwidow is still working well though I primarily use a Rainy 75 now, which I much prefer.”
Really happy with their Alloy Origins Core, though the springs could use lube as they're sometimes audible.
“I got the exact one! really happy with it, just the springs should be lubbed bc I can hear them sometimes”
An impulse-buy GMMK 3 PRO with Panda switches turned out great: very nicely made and heavy (4.4 lb), with full RGB for shine-through caps.
“It was kind of an impulse buy at MicroCenter but I'm very happy with how it turned out.”
Loving their Azoth Extreme with GMK Dualshot keycaps (switched to Oil King switches); can't stop typing on it.
“loving my Azoth Extreme with GMK DUALSHOT!”
Recently got the Azoth Extreme: a very solid keyboard and they love the ROG NX Snow switches.
“I recently got an Azoth Extreme, it’s such a solid keyboard and I love their snow switches”
